History

Marcie Trump was the very first president of Texas Chapter VII.  Marcie was the person who ran an ad in the Blues Newspaper calling for a meeting to form a Blue Knight® Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club chapter in Houston.  We met and most of the sign up members were Harris County Deputies.  Bruce Johnson, Stefanie and I were about the only Houston officers to sign up as charter members.

Marcie was elected president and I was elected Vice President.  Our first meeting was at a deputy’s house.  Our second meeting was at the Houston Police Officers Association bldg. located on Memorial.  We then decided food was a draw to get police officers to a meeting.  So we moved the meeting to a restaurant down the street from the association, I believe it was called Cuffs.  Surprise, a much larger crowd showed up.
